“How do you do what you do?”

Being a criminal defense attorney for as long as I have, I’ve repeatedly heard the question:   “How do you what you do?”  But what people really mean when they  ask that is “how in the world can you defend people who have done such vile, inhumane things?” Putting aside for one moment, the presumption of innocence that ALL people are guaranteed, this article offers the best answer and explanation I’ve heard.  And the answer, “Very well, thank you” is so true.
